Interested in learning how to use our CO2 Laser (Thunder Nova 51)? Come take our three-hour workshop (it's a lot, we need you to not burn the building down).
We'll cover:
- machine setup
- operating Lightburn
- securing your workpiece
- materials you can and cannot use in this machine
- cleanup and maintenance
- being a good steward of the lasers at our makerspace
Our laser workshops are labeled numerically for a reason - we want you to take them in that order. Our followup classes for the fiber laser build off the knowledge presented in our co2 laser class. Please don't sign up for 102 or 103 without taking 101.
